This episode is from several years ago, it’s interesting to hear how much things have changed since then… and they’ve changed quite a bit…

Episode 43 – Making Money with Facebook Reels – A Case Study
Facebook Reels rolled out in September of 2021 in response to Tiktok gaining a significant market share. Today we discuss how we are monetizing this platform. www.spreaker.com
A couple of months ago I stumbled onto a reality TV show that Latoya Jackson did. I watched an episode where she moved into a hotel while she looked for a house to buy. She was also exploring getting back on the dating scene… She had not been on a date since 1996, 14 years when this aired in 2010.
She’s such a neat person. You can watch episodes on YouTube, I’m not sure how many there are though.
If you’re looking for a job right now, it’s easy to get discouraged.
Every day I see posts from people who have applied to hundreds—even thousands—of jobs, only to get a handful of interviews and, in many cases, no offers at all.
One area that seems to be different is sales.
Remote sales positions still appear to be plentiful, and while AI has become remarkably good at qualifying leads and handling routine customer interactions, the actual art of selling—especially high-ticket sales—still depends heavily on people. Building trust, understanding a customer’s needs, and knowing how to guide a conversation are skills that technology hasn’t fully replaced.
I recently came across a woman on Facebook who shares her experiences working from home in a remote sales role. I found her perspective interesting because she talks openly about the day-to-day reality of the job, what she’s learned, and what it actually takes to succeed.
If you’ve been struggling with the traditional online job market, it might be worth considering remote sales as another path. It certainly seems to be one of the areas where opportunities are still available.

I just watched “25 FORGOTTEN Airline Meals Passengers Ate During the Golden Age of Flying” on YouTube”
There were several dishes made with an open flame… that’s unbelievable even in those days… Actually, especially in those days.
I’ve been wanting to have a social media type feed or microblog on my website for a very long time… A lot of times, I don’t want to post a full blown blog post… Sometimes I just want to share a link, image or a random thought… I also wanted a feed for the different projects I’m in… so I can communicate with others involved what’s going on…
I never could find anything that wasn’t bloated and suited my needs… The only solutions I found were entire social media wordpress plugins that were too much for what I needed.. So I built my own plugin…
It’s a work in progress, and I have new ideas and improvements I plan on implementing as time moves on…
